Just starting out with this app have worked out a couple of things and it seems to work very nicely. Will continue to use as the possibilities seem to be endless
Nasty piece of work
Somebody has decided to throw all interface conventions to the wind and produce this modular synthesiser. I have had no problem operating a Moog Modular or many other hardware synths, I have even built them from scratch. I can't get anywhere with Adulus and the instructions are incomprehensible. Hides 5 3 3 download free. What should be a very simple exercise interconnecting synth modules is foiled by the designer's attempt at ‘minimalism'. Draging a selection on-screen is a nightmare. Overlapping black backgrounded windows quickly becomes an confusing mass. The synth modules that I would expect to be there aren't and require a degree in higher matthematics to construct from scratch.
Avoid!
Loving the New Features
Having come from the previous windows version I'm loving this one. I know Taylor has done a lot of work in improving the Oscillators ( having read mutable forums ) and the layout now makes much more sense from an instrumental point of view.
In short if you like your modular sound creation, or want a perfect way to learn it this is best money you can spend!
